A belated Easter delight

So I had a huge yarn haul just before the Easter weekend, from: DMC and The Knitting Network. The DMC yarns were shipped from France and it took 2 days to despatch and 5 days to ship to London; the Knitting Network order took 3 days to arrive.

There are 5 variations in this cute pattern, here is just the first of the collection - more Easter animals to follow!

I've had to mix the off white yarn (#761) with a white one (#762) because 1 skein of happy cotton isn't enough for a bunny with this pattern! Remember to snatch up 2 skeins if you're heading to the yarn shop - or try spicing it up with a mixed colour bunny like I have!

Materials used:

• DMC Happy Cotton (bought from DMC UK)

  • #761 for the body (here I mixed it with #762)

  • #751 (baby blue), #757 (grey), #794 (yellow) for the pot

  • #753 (orange) and #781 (green) for the carrot

• 9mm safety eyes (bought from CN Square)

• Crochet hook 4/0 (2.5mm)

• Loose pink and black embroidery threads
